Required disclosure
Affiliate disclosure
The Real Cabo participates in the Viator affiliate programme. When you book a tour through a link on this site, we earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This disclosure appears above the fold on every page that contains affiliate links, in accordance with US Federal Trade Commission guidance.
What this means in practice
Links on this site that lead to viator.com carry a partner tracking identifier. If you click one and make a booking, Viator pays The Real Cabo a percentage of the booking value. You pay exactly the same price you would pay going to Viator directly.
What it does not mean
It does not mean an operator has paid us to be recommended. We are paid the same commission rate regardless of which tour you book, so we have no financial reason to prefer one operator over another. We do not sell placement, we do not accept payment for reviews, and we do not publish sponsored content.
Many pages on this site recommend free alternatives to paid tours — driving yourself to Chileno Bay rather than booking a snorkel trip, or watching the sunset from Medano Beach rather than paying for a cruise. Those recommendations earn us nothing, and they stay because they are the honest answer.
Outbound link handling
Every affiliate link on this site is marked rel="sponsored noopener" and opens in a new tab. We log the fact that a click happened — which page it came from and which product it pointed at — so we can measure what readers find useful. We do not sell that data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. See our privacy notice.
Accuracy
Prices, durations and seasons on this site are checked periodically and each page carries a real last updated date. Tour prices move, and the figure you see at checkout is always the authoritative one. If you find something wrong, email hello@therealcabo.com.
Independence
The Real Cabo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Viator, Tripadvisor, or any tour operator in Los Cabos. Opinions on this site are our own.
